did you know that Nell Harper Lee author of To Kill a Mocking Bird and Truman Capote author of In Cold Blood and Breakfast at Tiffany’s were best childhood friends. She even wrote Capote into the book as the character Dill. she also helped Capote in his research during his writing of In Cold Blood, because the local towns people refused to talk to him because he was openly gay.
